Wilson Reading System® Two-Day
Introductory Workshop – Overview

This course is intended for paraeducators, reading specialists, special educators, classroom teachers, and administrators interested in learning about the Wilson Reading System® (WRS®). Wilson Two-Day Overview® introduces the principles of multisensory, structured language education with WRS®, establishes general program concepts and provides instruction in the lesson-plan format.
Participants learn how to teach:
• phonological awareness and phoneme segmentation
• basic principles of language structure
• direct, multisensory methods and lesson-planning procedures of the Wilson program

Wilson Two-Day Overview® is a prerequisite for Level I Certification
