Tracy Stein, M.S.Ed., NCSP
Educational Diagnostician
Tracy Stein, M.S.Ed., NCSP, Evaluator, is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who conducts cognitive, language and academic assessments primarily with school-aged children and young adults. She has expertise in providing assessment and informed feedback to individuals with learning disabilities, particularly those with language-based learning challenges. She enjoys collaborating with schools, teachers and parents alike. In addition to performing evaluations, Tracy manages the technology needs for the evaluation department, which now uses iPad-based assessments for most clients. Prior to joining the Stern Center, Tracy worked as a school psychologist for the New York City Department of Education.
Tracy received her Master of Education degree from CUNY Brooklyn College in New York, where she earned Advanced Certification in School Psychology. In addition, she has completed numerous professional learning workshops and graduate-level courses offered through the Stern Center as well as at regional conferences on topics related to language development, literacy, assessment and the role of assistive technology in the classroom. More recently, Tracy completed her Associate Level Orton-Gillingham training and 100-hour practicum.
