Emily Aswad, M.A. Ed.

Instructor

Emily is currently in her 11th year in education and was previously a special educator. She graduated from Hobart and William Smith with a Master of Arts in Teaching in 2010. She started her career at a charter school in Massachusetts where she worked as a special educator with students in grades 7 through 10 over the course of five years. She then moved to Vermont where she worked as a special educator working with students ranging from first through sixth grade. She has taken a variety of courses related to Orton-Gillingham through the Stern Center over the past four years and is looking forward to continuing to utilize the approach in her work as an Instructor. Emily enjoys being active and spending time skiing, mountain biking, and kiteboarding.
