Mary B. Cotton, MA CCC-SLP BCS-CL
Speech Language Pathologist
Mary B. Cotton is a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with specialized expertise in neurodiversity-affirming practices, social cognition, and self-regulation. She earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in 2008 from Case Western Reserve University after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the College of Wooster as a Longbrake Scholar.
With a deep understanding of neurodiversity, Mary focuses on creating supportive, inclusive therapy strategies that promote social-emotional development and cognitive growth for individuals of all ages. She is particularly passionate about early language development, working to empower young children with the skills they need to communicate confidently and effectively. Mary recently became a Board-Certified Specialist in Child Language (BCS-CL), demonstrating her commitment to advancing her expertise in pediatric language development.
In her free time, Mary enjoys crafting with her daughter, swimming in any body of water she can find, and cheering on the New York Yankees with her partner.
