Olivia Light, M.Ed.
Instructor
Olivia earned her Master of Elementary Education from Lesley University in 2024, after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Education from St. Lawrence University. She began her teaching career as an associate at Belmont Day School, where she worked in both second and fifth grade classrooms. Most recently, she led a third-grade classroom in Vermont, where she deepened her passion for supporting students with diverse learning profiles. Olivia was inspired to become an educator through her own experience as a person with dyslexia. She is a certified Responsive Classroom teacher who is committed to creating inclusive environments that inspire self-confidence, independence, and joy. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading fiction, gardening, and exploring the outdoors.
