Who is this course for?
This two-part workshop is for classroom, school, and district leaders or administrators who have an initiative they’d like to see successfully implemented.
Course description
As school and district leaders, we are regularly involved in the implementation of new initiatives and the improvement of existing systems. The power of inertia and culture often interfere with change. Experience tells us that we can increase the likelihood that a school or district initiative succeeds and endures through the application of change reasoning, leadership lessons, and systems thinking.
In this interactive two-part workshop series, you will learn how to apply systems thinking to a school or district initiative in order to increase the likelihood of success. You’ll bring an initiative to the course and apply the knowledge you gain to your initiative. You will receive feedback about your initiative and make improvements to your plans. You’ll come away with a deeper understanding of systems thinking and change theory. Sign up individually or as a leadership team to build a deeper level of understanding in order to improve school and district improvement efforts.
