A generous grant from M&T Bank ensures more students will receive vital education services and support.
We at the Stern Center are very grateful for the generosity of M&T Bank, which has awarded our nonprofit learning center a $20,000 grant to support our work with learners. These funds will help us provide need-based scholarships to make Stern Center services accessible to more families. We know that access to learning expands opportunities and makes our communities stronger.
“M&T Bank is pleased to provide the Stern Center for Language and Learning with a $20,000 grant for their Equity and Access initiative,” said Kathy Schirling, Vice President, Divisional Community Involvement Manager. “The Stern Center is a critical resource in our community. The Equity and Access initiative is rooted in the intention to make their unique, vital education services accessible to all regardless of income. Their mission to help all learners reach their potential is founded in equity of opportunity, and in turn equity in life is founded in part by literacy and the fullest capacity for learning.”
