Amelia Duffy, M.Ed.
Instructor
Amelia graduated from Plymouth State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Literature and minor in History. She obtained her 7-12 English license in 2004 through Peer Review with the State of Vermont. She has worked in many educational roles throughout her career that include Behavior Interventionist, Mainstream Instructional Assistant, English teacher, Literacy Specialist, Reading Interventionist, 504 Coordinator, Educational Support Team (EST) Coordinator, and Instructional Coach. Amelia worked with the State of Vermont in designing and developing the MTSS framework that guides schools in better serving all students as they work to achieve mastery of the Common Core State Standards in Literacy and English. She will add an additional teaching endorsement of K-12 Literacy Specialist in January 2025 through graduate work at Saint Michael’s College, The University of Vermont, and The Vermont State University.
