Vice President for Advanced Learning

Janna Osman, M.Ed., Vice President for Advanced Learning, has served on the Stern Center Leadership Team for over 10 years. Previously, she was the Director of Professional Learning and the Cynthia K. Hoehl Institute for Excellence. She was the founder of the Orton Gillingham Institute and has been a presenter at the International Dyslexia Association Conference over many years. Janna currently works with the professional development team as a purveyor of the Lead to Read program, bringing the science of reading to teachers, schools, districts, at the elementary school level. Prior to coming to the Stern Center, she worked at the Agency of Education as the Learning Disabilities Consultant for the state of Vermont. Janna has worked as an adjunct professor at Saint Michaels in the Masters in Education Program, contributing to the field for over 40 years.
