Kristen Hubbell, M.S.ED.
Instructor
Kristen Hubbell joins the Stern Center for Language and Learning as a Structured Literacy Teacher. She is also an adjunct literacy faculty member at UVEI and a local LETRS facilitator. Her work is grounded in the belief that literacy is a fundamental right and a matter of social justice.
With nearly two decades of experience in Colorado, Iowa, and Vermont, Kristen has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and reading interventionist. She is a licensed Literacy Specialist in Vermont and has extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning profiles and educators in evidence-based literacy practices.
Kristen holds a Master’s in Teacher Effectiveness and Professional Development from Drake University, a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont, and a Reading Science Certificate from Mount St. Joseph University. She lives in Woodstock, Vermont, with her husband and three children.
