Lara Morales is the Literacy Specialist at Montgomery Elementary School as well as an OG Clinical Supervisor with the Stern Center.  Her teaching career spans over 25 years. She was a Special Educator for 20 years, and has enjoyed focusing on literacy instruction for the past several years.  Her first introduction to structured literacy instruction was in 2000, when she was trained as a Wilson Reading System instructor, and shortly after that,  as a Fundations® teacher.  She began her Orton-Gillingham journey in 2015, and achieved her Certified Level this past school year.
