Lindsey Neves Baillargeron, M.Ed.
Instructor
Lindsey is a Massachusetts-certified reading specialist and English teacher with 17 years of experience. She has taught English language arts in public and private schools, including programs for students with language-based learning differences. She also has experience teaching reading and writing to international students online.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education from the University of Rhode Island, a Master of Liberal Arts in English from Harvard Extension School, and a Master of Education in Reading from Lesley University. She completed Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator training through Sally Borden Connect and Associate Level coursework through the Hamilton Institute at The Wheeler School, with plans to complete her practicum in the near future.
Lindsey has deepened her expertise in Structured Literacy through the Stern Center and the International Dyslexia Association, and she recently studied Structured Word Inquiry with Dr. Peter Bowers.
Lindsey is passionate about helping students unlock language through structured, multisensory instruction. She particularly enjoys teaching Greek and Latin affixes to support word recognition, spelling, and comprehension. Her love of linguistics and etymology inspires her work with students of all ages.
Lindsey lives in Rhode Island with her family, where she enjoys baking, gardening, and reading children’s books to her daughter and husky.
