Sarah is currently in her 11th year in education and was previously a special educator. She graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a Masters in Special Education. She started her career teaching in and around Montreal where she grew up and where she worked as a special educator with students in pre-k through 8th grade. She then moved to Vermont where she worked as a special educator working with students ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade. She has taken a variety of courses related to Orton-Gillingham through the Stern Center over the past years and is looking forward to continuing to utilize the approach in her work as an Instructor. Sarah speaks French and enjoys the outdoors and is passionate about fostering and working with animals.
