Shaun Stephens, M.S.
Speech Language Pathologist
Shaun Stephens is a speech-language pathologist with deep experience working with children and adults on many aspects of communication and social cognition, with specialized focus on social cognition, discourse-level language, and alternative-augmentative communication (AAC). He has a passion for using hands-on and experiential learning, and started a Makerspace at the Stern Center: the Social Learning Arts and Makerspace (SLAM). Shaun has worked at the Stern Center since 2013, as well as at a medical center, schools, and early childhood programs. He is a recipient of the Bellcate Community Award in 2024, that recognizes achievements in supporting their students. He enjoys cooking, woodworking, bicycling, splitting firewood, fiddling, and reading.
